About Colorwork Studio

Colorwork Studio is a tool for designing knit colorwork. You chart your pattern stitch by stitch, pick yarns from a library of real yarn photographs, and see an accurate preview of the finished fabric, before knitting a single stitch.

Choosing colors is one of the hardest parts of colorwork. A shade card or a flat color chip can't tell you how a heathered gray will sit next to a saturated red once they're knit together. Swatching answers that question, but swatching every combination is slow. Colorwork Studio exists to close that gap: try combinations freely, in the yarns you'll actually use, and knit the one you love.

The studio is currently in alpha and under active development. New features and yarns are added regularly: join our Google Group to hear about releases, or just open the studio and start charting.
